Jose Maria Iriarte

Welcome to my website!

I’m a software engineer and lifelong learner with a multidisciplinary background spanning political science, economics, foreign languages, mathematics, and computer science. My professional interests sit at the intersection of engineering rigor, systems thinking, and continuous learning.

As of early 2026, I’m developing an Engineering Library that will live on this website. It will feature a curated collection of audio content distilling over a decade of learning—ranging from .NET fundamentals to system design and software architecture. In parallel, I’m returning to algorithmic practice through CodeWars and the NeetCode 150, as I resume full-time work as a software engineer during the first half of 2026.

Outside of work, I’m involved in a number of small, ongoing personal projects and remain committed to maintaining a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. This includes deepening my practice in yoga and stretching, alongside jogging and strength training.

I value time spent with family—especially my niece and nephews, parents, and siblings—and I take a practical interest in personal finance, investing, and staying casually informed through social media. As an avid learner, I’m particularly drawn to psychology and personal development, with a focus on negotiation, personality, nutrition, exercise, and interpersonal relationships.

This site currently serves as a hub for my work and includes links to my social media presence. I hope you find something here that’s useful, interesting, or worth returning to.

Thank you for visiting!
